LEC. 3. Pr. COMP 6660 or COMP 5660. This course prepares students to perform independent research in general, and in the field of evolutionary computing (EC) in specific. This course covers in the context of EC: ideation, literature review, proposal writing and evaluation, research software design and implementation, experiment design and analysis, scientific writing and evaluation, and scientific oral presentation.
